New Uniforms for the 2012-13 Season Announced!

NIKE is releasing new uniforms for the 2012-13 season. The three clubs—Manchester United FC and Arsenal FC from the Premier League, and FC Barcelona from La Liga—will see their new kits released sequentially starting Friday, July 6th.

The Most Environmentally Conscious Uniforms in NIKE History!

The new uniforms are characterized by NIKE's innovative technology, being made from recycled polyester. Up to 13 plastic PET bottles are used in the manufacturing of each uniform (shirt and shorts). This production method reduces energy consumption by up to 30% compared to conventional polyester.

Since 2010, NIKE has manufactured high-performance uniforms using an estimated 1.115 billion recycled plastic bottles.

Furthermore, for comfort and injury prevention, players wear NIKE Pro Combat underlayers in combination with their match uniforms.
