Eau de Toilette: A Perfect Expression of "Wearing Scent"

BYREDO is a contemporary, luxurious fragrance brand deeply connected to creativity, art, and personal style. It is widely stocked in stores like Barneys New York, Colette in Paris, and Le Bon Marché, and is a topic of conversation among those in creative fields. In Japan, sales will commence on February 23rd at the Isetan Men's Building cosmetics counter, followed by a launch at Biotope in Shirokanedai on March 23rd.

Founded in Stockholm in 2006 by Ben Gorham, whose parents are Indian and Canadian, BYREDO has carved out a unique niche with its artistic fragrances rich in narrative. As Ben explains, "My personal and intense "scent memories" awaken other memories in those who wear them, or become new memories. That is the allure of perfume as art." The brand's concepts are rooted in his private memories and imagination.



The brand is also known for its strong ties to fashion and art, collaborating with M/M Paris, a cutting-edge art director duo based in Paris (pictured top). This free-spirited creativity, unbound by the confines of fragrance, has become an indispensable element of BYREDO's identity.

BYREDO's collections, all produced in Sweden with a focus on carefully selected, high-quality ingredients and craftsmanship, include not only Eau de Parfum but also candles, body lotions, shower gels, body creams, and classic soaps. Body care products are slated for release in Japan sequentially from this summer.

The Eau de Parfum range features a total of 14 scents, including "FANTASTIC MAN" (limited quantity at Isetan Shinjuku Men's Building), "GYPSY WATER," "ROSE NOIR," "GREEN," and the collaboration with M/M Paris, "M/M INK." These Nordic-inspired scents create an intellectual and creative atmosphere.
