At SOLFERINO in Marunouchi Brick Square, where Marinella's personal order event concluded successfully, Marinella's "sfoderata"—meaning unlined—ties have arrived. By eliminating the lining, weight is reduced while allowing for a beautiful, voluminous drape.

A Construction More Intricate Than the Standard Sette Pieghe (Seven Folds)
Marinella's printed ties are typically crafted using the same silk fabric for both the front and back. However, this "Sfoderata" is intentionally made without a lining.
The origin of the tie is said to be a folded scarf. The edge of the tip on the unlined sfoderata is finished with a hand-rolled hem, reminiscent of a scarf, offering a soft texture and a sophisticated feel from its meticulous construction.
The material is a luxurious 36-ounce heavy-ounce silk print fabric. Its unique crispness and body create a natural, beautiful drape and volume that is unparalleled.
The craftsmanship is evident in the beautiful knots and dimples, a detail that Maurizio Marinella, the third-generation head of the family, insists upon. The collection features a rich variety of Marinella's signature small-pattern prints and colorways. Each tie is priced at ¥27,300.
