Nature-Inspired Details
Following our recent feature,Tokichi Kimura and Hanae's conversation “Bridging the Urban and the Natural”we delve deeper into the new Fall/Winter items from Levi’s® Made & Crafted™ (hereafter referred to as LMC). First, let's watch the video that embodies this season's theme, “New West: Outdoor.”
The screen is framed by two circles, as if looking through binoculars. It shows backcountry scenery and a modern cottage built within it, eventually revealing the aurora borealis. The nearly four-minute video then introduces the new collection.
The collection, which we will detail below, incorporates elements inspired by these natural phenomena, mirroring the imagery conveyed in the video. These influences are expressed through silhouettes, fabrics, color palettes, and patterns. Discover the products that embody the world of LMC.
Key Men's Items
Left: A wool jacket with a box silhouette. Its warm texture features white neps on a charcoal gray base. The lining is a digital dot pattern in red, blue, green, and yellow, inspired by the aurora borealis.
Center: A collarless zip-up jacket made from natural-toned cowhide. Its lightweight construction makes it ideal for layering. Layered underneath is a button-down shirt with a small collar, exuding a minimalist impression.
Right: A rigid texture that denim enthusiasts will adore. The "Tack" is an authentic model with a silhouette that gently tapers towards the hem.
Left: A two-button jacket in a blue-gray hue with white neps, offering a rich texture. It features a casual design with no vents and patch pockets.
Center: A thick vest made from wool with neps, accented with piping. This piece is actually reversible, with a boa lining on the other side, offering two distinct looks. The inner layer is a deep indigo shirt, its simple design highlighted by clean white buttons.
Right: The "Drill Chino," made from the same fabric as the blazer on the left. It offers a relaxed fit from the waist to the thighs, with a natural taper for a clean appearance.
Left: A padded zip-up blouson with a texture resembling Shetland wool. The visible stitching is distinctive, forming lines like a mountain skyline. Despite its rugged appearance, it is exceptionally lightweight.
Center: The 100% cotton, set-in sleeve sweatshirt's pattern is its most striking feature. The top two models feature designs inspired by mountain peaks around the hem and cuffs, while the black-based piece showcases a digital dot pattern motif of the aurora borealis.
