High-Quality Daily Wear, Meticulously Crafted in Britain

S.E.H. KELLY

Launched in 2009 by Kera Sally, a designer who honed her tailoring skills on London's Savile Row for a decade, and director Paul Vincent, S.E.H. KELLY is a noteworthy brand. JOURNAL STANDARD began curating its pieces from the Autumn/Winter 2012 season.

Its defining characteristic is an unwavering commitment to British craftsmanship, encompassing not only the fabrics but also the accessories like buttons and the entire production process. This dedication stems from the designer's rigorous training in Savile Row's highest standards of tailoring. The brand aims to create the finest quality garments within their direct oversight, ensuring they are not just for a select few but are cherished as everyday wear. These aspirations are woven into every piece from S.E.H. KELLY.

Crafted from Ventile, a waterproof fabric developed in Manchester, and lined with wool melton woven by a Royal Warrant holder in Yorkshire. The design features large workwear-inspired pockets balanced by a subtly small collar. Exclusive colorway for JOURNAL STANDARD.

This piece merges classic design with a contemporary silhouette. The front closure boasts more buttons than a typical pea coat, allowing for varied styling. It's a substantial garment, featuring Donegal tweed on the exterior and coated wool produced in West Yorkshire for the lining.

A minimalist, fly-front blouson accented with flap pockets on the chest and a chin strap. The smooth, supple nubuck cowhide leather is meticulously handcrafted in a Hackney leather workshop. Its deep dark brown hue exudes a sophisticated aura.

A Bag Brand Defined by a Single, Iconic Silhouette

FAUSTINE PARIS

FAUSTINE PARIS is an emerging brand garnering significant attention for its blend of trendy elements, premium materials, and meticulous craftsmanship.

Designer Faustine Baranowski, after over a decade designing lingerie for houses like Sonia Rykiel, founded her own bag brand in 2013. Her much-anticipated debut collection arrived in Spring/Summer 2014.

Uniquely, the brand currently offers only one design: a drawstring pouch. However, its extensive and vibrant lineup is achieved through the use of diverse luxury materials and original color combinations. The design's origin traces back to a bag used by the US military during World War II, a form popularized among Hollywood actresses in the 1970s. As drawstring styles regain prominence, this design captures the current trend.

Production is handled by a Parisian haute couture atelier, with each piece meticulously handcrafted.
