Space Designed by Monocle Founder, Themed Around "Travel"
For Louis Vuitton, which began as "wood box makers and packers for luggage," "travel" is its origin and a fundamental theme of the Maison. This pop-up store, named "L'Aventure = Adventure," creates a space centered on this "travel" theme. From the latest luggage and travel accessories for the modern smart traveler to legendary luggage that shared the fate of explorers,──bed trunks that supported expeditions on the African continent, and luggage fitted to half-track vehicles for trans-Asian journeys,──are gathered, embodying the world of Louis Vuitton and travel that has adventured through all eras and all corners of the globe.

The space design is a collaboration with Tyler Brûlé, founder of the British magazine Monocle, and his team. Passing through an entrance where monkeys relax among golden palm trees, the interior, with its calming wood tones, is lush with greenery. Vivid murals by graphic artist Retman, a hammock woven from leather, and antique trunks displayed on wall shelves evoke the golden age of travel, with its numerous trunks and continental crossings.
The shop also offers unique travel-related services, such as custom orders and repairs for luggage, and "The Art of Packing," which demonstrates tips for smart packing. The "L'Aventure" pop-up store runs until Tuesday, September 30th. If you find yourself traveling to Hong Kong, be sure to visit.
