Travel Line "Alpha2" Makes Its Debut

TUMI introduces Alpha2, a next-generation travel collection embodying over 14 patents, 30 enhancements, superior design, and exceptional functionality. The lineup features 16 models, ranging from two-wheel and four-wheel options to duffel and garment styles.

Cutting-Edge Technology Adapts to Evolving Travel Styles

In 1983, TUMI launched travel bags using "ballistic nylon," a military-grade material, and has continued its unique evolution. The popular luggage collection now welcomes the innovative new "Alpha2".

The main body features the patent-pending "Durafold™" construction, which is folded into a sheet. Corner caps are added to reduce external impact, enhancing the durability of the main body. It also incorporates the patented "X-Brace45®" handle system, made of lightweight, aircraft-grade aluminum, which absorbs external shocks and protects the retractable handle.

Furthermore, the newly designed 360-degree rotating four-wheel casters are mounted within recessed areas of the case body, ensuring stable rolling and allowing for greater packing capacity.

Expand the Gusset for Extra Space on the Return Journey

TUMI's "Alpha2" luggage, 66cm and taller, features the new "Lever Lock™ Expansion System." This lever-based system allows for easy, two-stage adjustment of the gusset width, expanding it by up to approximately 6.3cm.

The interior differs between the two-wheel and four-wheel models, allowing selection based on intended use or preference. In addition to black, espresso and grey/orange are available for select models.
