This unique brand has now arrived in Japan and will be available at stores like Beams and Journal Standard.

Appearing at Journal Standard Omotesando from Friday, March 7th
Since its launch in 2004, MAKR has garnered a loyal following by releasing handmade custom orders and limited edition wallets and camera bags. From the outset, the brand has fused traditional craftsmanship with advanced modern techniques, consistently adhering to "MADE IN USA" throughout all production processes.
As the founder is an architect, MAKR begins designing bags and accessories by sketching simple designs in a sketchbook. CAD is then used to precisely engineer every stitch. This meticulous design process is a hallmark of the brand.
Furthermore, MAKR insists on using the finest American-sourced materials. For leather, they use MAKR's original high-quality leather from HORWEEN. All wood is also sourced within the United States and processed in-house.
Prototypes require several months to produce, with each iteration refined for improved structure and aesthetic appeal. For leather goods, materials are laser-cut in the MAKR design studio, and then sewn by hand by the MAKR team of artisans.
Leather accessories are already available at Beams Harajuku, Beams Shibuya, Beams Street Ikebukuro, Beams Japan Shinjuku, Beams Tachikawa, and five other stores in the Kansai and Kyushu regions. Bags will be launched from April 1st (Tuesday).
Journal Standard Omotesando and Journal Standard Shinsaibashi will begin offering products from Friday, March 7th.
