“White” Adds a Spring/Summer Feel to Your Style

Koda joined DIESEL two years ago and, after stints at the Harajuku, Shibuya, and Kawasaki stores, is now based at Roppongi Hills. "The Kawasaki store was bustling with families, but Roppongi Hills is in a more mature district, attracting a different clientele of sophisticated adults and international visitors. It's very stimulating, and I learn a lot from my customers," he shares. He's also become more mindful of his language and mannerisms when assisting customers.

"Of course, the product's inherent appeal is paramount, but our job is also about ensuring customers enjoy their experience. We aim to create an atmosphere where people can further enjoy fashion by explaining trends and DIESEL's vision."

This season, Koda favors incorporating "white" somewhere in his outfits. "I find myself adding white to my look without even realizing it (laughs). Today, I've added a touch of summer flair with the white stripes on my knitwear, complementing the navy set-up." He also notes that a white denim coverall with chain stitching on the back is selling exceptionally well in the store.

Focus on Summery, Trend-Forward All-Over Print Shorts

"This jacket and pants are 100% polyester and can be worn as a set, making them very versatile. While the jacket might seem formal, its clean lines give a fresh impression. Pairing it with sneakers completes the "sporty" theme of this season's DIESEL collection. This season's trend of tone-on-tone coordination is fresh, but adding accessories can create eye-catching points to avoid a minimalist look," says Koda.

"For this Golden Week, the jacket is key, so I recommend pairing it with light shorts. DIESEL offers a wide selection of summery, trend-forward all-over print shorts," he recommends.

"While I already loved DIESEL denim, I appreciate how their clothing allows for playful styling," Koda says, expressing his enthusiasm for DIESEL BLACK GOLD. "I've been buying quite a bit since moving to Roppongi Hills (laughs). I'm drawn to the modern feel of the silhouettes and materials, and the meticulous details that appeal to fashion enthusiasts."
