Founded in 1973, Felisi celebrates its 40th anniversary this year. To commemorate this milestone, the new "Punto a mano" collection will be released in early February.

Craftsmanship from the Founding Era Reimagined

"Punto a mano" is Italian for "hand stitch." From the late 1960s, when founder Alessandro Felisi pursued his passion for crafting, through to the brand's establishment in 1973, all processes—from pattern making and cutting to sewing—were done entirely by hand, without the use of any machinery like sewing machines.

Stitching, in particular, has the most significant impact on appearance. The pitch must be even and beautiful, while also ensuring durability. This required exceptional craftsmanship.

The photo on the right shows a doctor's bag handmade during the brand's precursor period before its official founding. Due to the use of thick leather, holes were punched with an awl, and the bag was sewn by hand.

In this "Punto a mano" series, the warm stitching of that era has been artfully reinterpreted for contemporary times, serving as a stylish accent. In addition to bags, leather accessories such as belts are also planned for the lineup.

Of course, Felisi's signature "combination of different materials" remains a key feature.

The color palette of the nylon harmonizes with the retro stitching, the leather texture seems to have time-traveled from 40 years ago—everything is designed with exquisite balance.

This series truly allows one to fully appreciate the dedication to craftsmanship and quality that Felisi has upheld for 40 years since its founding.
