In addition to the collection circuit a few times a year, Editor Demon King Tomoki Yusuke often travels abroad for shoots and receptions. This time, for The Best 7, we're looking at the ubiquitous rolling suitcases that more than half the people in airports worldwide seem to have. Do perfect ones truly exist—ones that look good, match any outfit, and are highly functional? Stay tuned!

Yusuke“On long-haul flights, I want to relax as much as possible. While flip-flops are comfortable for bare feet, wearing elegant slippers is also a stylish choice.
John Lobb's "Naiton" slippers are a luxurious masterpiece with cashmere suede uppers and a reverse suede trim around the opening. Their chic design and cushioned comfort are particularly appealing.
I also appreciate the substantial zipper on the case; it adds a touch of opulence. Some airlines provide in-flight slippers, but I'm not a fan of the thin materials they often use.
A cashmere V-neck sweater is a versatile item to have. It's incredibly useful when the cabin gets a bit chilly. The first time I started carrying one was years ago when designer Richard James gave me a navy cashmere V-neck sweater, saying, 'This is really convenient for flying.'
Since then, I always pack a thin yet warm cashmere V-neck sweater that I can easily slip on over a T-shirt.”
