Vol. 6: "Dressed Up, The Blouson!" TOM FORD
The series, helmed by Editor Demon King Tomoki Yusuke, is in its sixth installment and continues to impress. This time, we’ve chosen a military blouson, styled in a way that eschews casual wear. Throwing it on over a T-shirt and jeans is a look from a decade ago, or perhaps even five. We propose a stylish approach, achieved through a limited color palette.

Tomoki“This piece was so popular in Japan that it sold out upon reservation. The subdued pattern, in dark tones, blurs the line between camouflage and botanical print, which is quite chic. The fact that this pattern is printed on nubuck leather is the height of luxury. While I’m not personally fond of camouflage, this piece makes me want to wear it. It’s a blouson with a basic design, similar to the G9, yet it possesses a distinct presence.”
An artistic camouflage pattern is printed onto high-quality, soft-to-the-touch cashmere nubuck. Details like raglan sleeves, large pockets, a gunmetal double zipper, and a smooth sleeve lining are all impeccable, and the lightness of the single-layer leather construction is a comfort. ¥890,000 (TOM FORD / TOM FORD JAPAN Tel: 03-5466-1123)
