Men's Footwear, Bags, and Accessories from the 2012-13 Autumn/Winter Collection Also Featured

In 2001, Yohji Yamamoto approached adidas, a sports brand he held in the highest regard. In March 2001, he presented the initial limited footwear collection, "adidas for Yohji Yamamoto," at the "Yohji Yamamoto Femme/Homme" show. This collaboration paved the way for the birth of Y-3, a brand that fuses sport and fashion, in October 2002.

The "BOXING" model, which is the focus of this event, was designed with inspiration drawn from boxing shoes. It has evolved over time, incorporating contemporary design elements, and remains a highly popular model each season.





In addition to the limited release of Japan-unreleased colorways of "BOXING," this temporary store will also showcase the full lineup of the season's men's footwear, bags, and accessories.

This season's Y-3 draws inspiration from the culture and lifestyle of nomadic peoples traversing the vast steppes of Central Asia, envisioning a fusion of styles and shapes that blend tradition with modernity. Among the new men's footwear, expect rugged models featuring built-in convertible suede leg warmers, as well as updated versions of adidas's classic shell-toe shoes in a variety of vivid colors.
