Steal the Style of 26 'Jacket Men'
Last June, Pitti Uomo, a trade show dedicated to menswear, was held in Florence, Italy. We snapped dapper men from all over Italy and Europe who gathered there. As it is a trade show, many of the men were impeccably dressed in jackets.—In other words, a lineup of 'jacket men.' We hope you'll take inspiration from their sophisticated styling.

Tied Up or No Tie?
Pitti Uomo drew many men in jackets, blazers, and suits. Roughly half wore ties, and half did not. When ties were worn, the prevailing style was to add a casual touch with the bottoms, such as pairing with denim or chinos. For untied looks, pay attention to the relaxed coordination with inner T-shirts or polo shirts.

Sleeves and Hems: Rolling is Standard?
While fewer in number, some men opted for looks without outerwear. The key here was 'rolling up' sleeves and cuffs. Many examples featured long-sleeved shirts neatly rolled up, a common technique at Pitti. More novel was the 'rolled hem' on trousers: rolling up the cuffs of slim-fit pants two or three times to a narrow width. This is a trick to create a cleaner look when wearing slip-ons or deck shoes.
