J.LINDEBERG was founded in Stockholm, Sweden, in 1996 by Johan Lindeberg. Its concept is based on skillfully expressing light and shadow, hope and melancholy, blending elegant yet bohemian casualness, artistic and intellectual qualities, youth and advancement, and a sharp, timeless yet eternal individuality. It is currently available in 25 countries worldwide as Nordic high-end fashion, merging seemingly disparate fields of high-end menswear and premium golf apparel.

In Japan, the brand may be strongly associated with golf. However, its menswear also receives high acclaim. The J.LINDEBERG menswear collection line is designed by Pierangelo D'Agostin, a former designer for Ramm, who has overseen numerous creative projects.

This season's collection is based on Scandinavian simple modernism, brought to life by long-cultivated craftsmanship. The perfectly tailored suits, while respecting tradition, constantly incorporate the latest materials and technologies. Inspired by Scandinavian heritage, nature such as fjords and mountains, and the Sami people of the north, D'Agostin's innovative approach also fuses authentic craftsmanship with Japan's cutting-edge high-tech functionality.

A Rich Golf Collection Too!

The J.LINDEBERG golf line remains as popular as ever. The brand has a clothing sponsorship with professional golfer Camilo Villegas. Collaborating with leading Japanese suppliers of high-performance materials enables the integration of the latest technologies, and the collection, which fuses function and fashion, elevates not only on-course performance but also ensures impeccable style off the course. It contemporarily reinterprets the styles of golf's early days—tailored blazers with dress pants, cardigans with shirts and ties—by adding modern patterns and functionality.

J.LINDEBERG will open its flagship store, offering a full line of both its menswear and golf collections, on Tuesday, August 23, 2011, on the 2nd floor of Omotesando Hills.

Based on Nordic simple modernism, the store features recycled materials and carpets, expressing J.LINDEBERG's worldview through both its menswear and golf lines.
