Danish rainwear brand holds a pop-up store

Visuals that redefine rainwear
RAINS was founded in April 2012 by Philip Lotko and Daniel Hesseleager, who met at university. Born in Denmark, a country surrounded by the sea and rich in nature, with an average of 121 rainy days a year, they came to believe that "rain can be perceived as beautiful and enjoyed positively. To achieve this, above all else, one needs the right attire to enjoy the rain."
The products are characterized by their high functionality, yet are designed with a minimal, refined, and beautiful form for an urban aesthetic. The material used is polyurethane, which has a light and smooth texture. Furthermore, the high-quality visual imagery has redefined the image of rainwear, which was previously seen as merely a "convenient and practical item."
Sharing beautiful and striking rainy scenes from around the world
Since the launch of its first collection, RAINS has rapidly expanded across Europe. Currently, it operates 8 directly managed stores within department stores, primarily in Northern Europe, and is available in 400 retail locations, including Colette in France and YMC in London. RAINS also shares beautiful and striking rainy scenes from around the world through Instagram.
Limited edition items also available at pop-up stores
The pop-up stores, starting in late May, will feature the latest collection, which combines the minimalist design characteristic of Scandinavia with a wide range of color variations and excellent rainwear functionality. Additionally, a limited edition "2015 sometimes it RAINS in JAPAN LIMITED MODEL" will be released at each store. This model is based on RAINS' signature "BREAKER" blouson, with the print "sometimes it RAINS in" on the left chest and back, embodying the campaign's concept.
