CICATA Chinos: Keeping the Kids Happy
Weekend Style
Shooting children's fashion for MILK magazine. The location was a ranch about two and a half hours from Tokyo by car. After dozing off in the location van, I woke up feeling like I'd arrived in the BIG COUNTRY.
The blouson I'm wearing today is by GB. I loved its bold regimental stripes and ordered it at the showroom. The cut, a Barracuda G9 type, also brings back memories. Vintage Barracuda G9s and McGregor Drizzlers were popular in high school, but even then, they didn't quite resonate with me when I tried them on. This time, however, it felt just right. Perhaps it's the red-based stripes? I think so. It's a personal satisfaction, but still...
The chino pants are the familiar heavy-weight type from CICATA. I like their width and the texture of the material. The sneakers are LANVIN. The round toe, with its glossy, patent-like sheen, is a key detail. ...But honestly, while I'm saying all this, I was actually focused on keeping the child models happy on set.
