A Series of Self-Portraits at My Doorstep

These were taken when I was considering a project called "365 Days of Coordination" for my website. All were self-portraits taken at the entrance of my home, but not by changing outfits each time; they were taken on different days. I believe this was around April to June of 2005.

The white jacket on the top left is likely by Veronique Branquinho. The black shirt, jeans, and shoes are Dior Homme. The mesh belt is also Veronique Branquinho.

The style on the top right is almost the same as my New York style from last time, isn't it? The short trench is by HAUTE, and the corduroy five-pocket pants are Balenciaga. The two-tone shoes are Gucci. The camera is a superb Kyocera I was fond of using back then. The tote bag is Jack Spade.

The polo shirt and slacks on the top left are again Veronique Branquinho. I liked these and wore them often. The belt and pointed-toe shoes are Dior Homme.

I'm wearing a wristwatch here, something I never do anymore. For some reason, I've stopped wearing watches entirely lately. The jacket on the top right is HAUTE, and the dress shirt is John Galliano. I really liked this shirt and owned two, but one was lost during cleaning at my regular hotel in Paris, which made me very sad... Sigh.

However, I haven't worn the remaining one much recently either. The belt is Dior Homme. I wore this frequently back then, but the buckle came off later, and it's been stored away ever since. I really should get it repaired. The shoes, like the ones in the photo above, are Gucci.

On the left, the jacket is Dior Homme, and the shirt is a Veronique Branquinho dress shirt. The buttons are quite open, revealing the trimmed tank top underneath.

Perhaps I liked this kind of look back then? It's embarrassing to look at now. Was I going for a 'slightly bad boy' vibe? It wouldn't be surprising if someone said so.

The belt is Dior Homme, and the pants are the Mick Jagger model by Notify. The designer, Maurice, made them at Mick Jagger's request, but they were too small, so he generously gifted me three pairs, saying, "TOMOKI, you wear these."

The cut was excellent, and I really loved wearing them. The shoes are Dior Homme's ultra-long boots.

These close-up photos were taken in the studio's makeup room around this time.
I think I was probably just playing around and making these to kill time while waiting for models to get their makeup done.

What was I even thinking?
It's all rather unclear now.
