Los Angeles at 30 Years (2)

Los Angeles at 30 Years (2)

LA might not have the same energy as it used to, but I love its relaxed vibe. I have many friends here, and there are vintage shops, so it's one of my favorite cities.

This was my first visit to this vintage shop. They have a lot of men's items, mainly from the 60s and 70s, and they also produce their own original pieces. Unlike vintage shops in Japan, it's nice that it's not dusty here. Perhaps it's due to the climate.
I bought a rare Stranglers T-shirt here. Hair and makeup artist Futa Sato bought a Lou Reed shirt. Vintage T-shirts are expensive, starting at $200.

I'd love to open a vintage shop in a house like this someday.

This is a vintage shop I always stop by. They carry both men's and women's items, ranging from Pierre Cardin and Yves Saint Laurent suits and shirts from the 60s and 70s to punk fashion like Worlds End. Their selection is excellent. They also have vintage designer pieces like old Chanel, as well as original items.

This shop, which seems to have opened in the latter half of last year, deals in leather items and vintage buckles. They also had items like belts, bags, and shirts. They appear to be looking for a Japanese distributor.

The meat is delicious too.

It's a Korean shabu-shabu restaurant. I remembered it was delicious from a previous visit and went with Sato-san and the local coordinator. Apparently, it's their original dish.
