ShimazuThe costumes in the film, like the mint-colored dress, are quite modern interpretations. In terms of ready-to-wear, "Robert Normand's" dresses are interesting. The embellishments are made with color copies, and the fake idea is incredibly charming.

ShimazuI also like "Repetto by Veronique Branquinho." Repetto is a ballet supply company that makes sexy shoes favored by Charlotte Gainsbourg and Catherine Deneuve, and this brand was born from their collaboration. It has a certain Tokyo vibe, doesn't it? The knit corset can be styled over jeans.

— 2007 seems set to be a big year for Marie Antoinette.

ShimazuThe location shooting is also incredible, as they rented out the Palace of Versailles for this film. Sofia Coppola is fortunate to be able to make a movie like this.
