BG Brand Releases New Coaster

Creating Items Beyond Fabric
Keiko Toda (Toda):The new BG Brand item is a coaster. Go Ueki (Ueki): You were thinking about creating new items, things beyond fabric, right? Toda: Yes! After much thought, we decided on rubber coasters this time! They're a substantial 9.5cm in diameter. Ueki: I think they turned out to be something that can be used for a long time, original and with a rock vibe, very much in the BG Brand style. They have a stylish finish.
Toda:They really did. They're so cheerful, they could almost be decorative. There are three colors. A set of three! They're vivid colors, but when you line them up, they have an elegant, mature feel.
Ueki:Black base with pink, gray, and purple. The design is a checkerboard, and the logo uses the classic BG Brand lettering.
Toda:You can use them individually, which is great! At the office or at home. If you line up all three, they can even be used as a trivet or a vase base. (laughs)
Ueki:They'll melt, so please don't do that! (laughs) They work as decorations too, don't they?
Toda:Exactly. Some of my friends think they're so cool, they keep them in their cars.

Ueki:Since they come in sets of three with three different colors, if you want more of the same color... you'll need to buy two sets or more. (laughs)
Toda:If you buy three or four sets, you can collect multiples of the same color. (laughs)
Ueki:But! I really think this color combination turned out great. It's not a combination you see very often.
Toda:It did, didn't it? We considered red or green, but pink, gray, and purple really captured the BG Brand essence.
Ueki:The raised texture also came out really well. We consulted closely with the manufacturer to get it just right. It was a really enjoyable process, even though it was our first time. Let's keep creating things that will last forever! Things that look cool just by being there.
Toda:And they make great gifts. Men might not typically buy coasters, but these are coasters that both men and women can enjoy. I'd be thrilled to receive one.
Ueki:Ah, if you had four, you could even wedge them under a table leg. (laughs)
Toda:We'd prefer you didn't do that. (laughs)
