The "B.B.U" Project for Summer 2012 Begins!

The joint project "B.B.U" fuses the styles of BEDWIN & THE HEARTBREAKERS and UNDEFEATED, weaving in the ideas of BEAUTY&YOUTH to propose new sportswear. For its third iteration, functional materials have been incorporated into traditional items, resulting in pieces that allow for a stress-free and healthy lifestyle. They will be available from Tuesday, June 5th.

The Star Item This Time: The Slip-On "Rod Laver"

"B.B.U" proposes wear that is easy to move in at any time, comfortable for daily life, and consciously sporty, suitable for a wide range of activities from work to play.

The "B.B.U" project always generates excitement, and this time, with the cooperation of adidas Originals, the iconic Rod Laver makes an appearance. Famous as the signature model for tennis, where dress codes are particularly strict, the Rod Laver, known for its design that omits the brand's signature three stripes, blends seamlessly with the "B.B.U" concept rooted in a simple, clean image. In line with the apparel collection's theme of "casual wear that isn't overly relaxed," it presents a new charm for the Rod Laver.

The Rod Laver released this time recreates the slim silhouette of the early models while featuring a lace-less, slip-on design, a gimmick not found in the original tennis shoes. The mesh covering the entire upper is exceptionally casual, offering the relaxed comfort of sandals in the appearance of a sneaker.

"B.B.U" will be available from Tuesday, June 5th, at all BEAUTY&YOUTH and UNDEFEATED stores, and the BEDWIN ONLINE STORE. Some items will also be released at select adidas Originals Shops.
