Desires Fuel Growth!
I'm not involved with recruitment at all these days, but students are so accustomed to the job-hunting process that it's hard to discern their true selves. They really go about their job searches with utmost seriousness.
When I see young people and new employees, I feel they've grown up in a truly abundant era.
They lack ambition, aren't driven to climb the ladder, are passive, and have few desires—like wanting a nice car, traveling abroad, or dating an attractive woman.
They probably don't feel a sense of lack or craving. In other words, they lack dreams. Since "desires fuel growth," this isn't a very good trend.
Value is created by fulfilling a sense of lack, so value creation disappears. They can't create anything interesting.
It's refreshing to see young people who are ambitious. Even those who have faced setbacks at a young age are compelling.

Mr. Shigematsu has also worn various sneakers over the years. He keeps a good stock of classic styles, with his favorite being the quintessential Converse "Jack Purcell," including a leather version. The "Jack Purcell," a pioneering signature model, was developed with input from badminton world champion Jack Purcell himself and launched in 1935. The curved toe line is known as the "smile," and the heel patch design is called the "whisker." It continues to be loved by many to this day.
