Starting Tuesday, April 21, 2020, Sharp will begin selling masks to individuals through the SHARP COCORO LIFE e-commerce site.

In response to a request from the Japanese government, Sharp decided on February 28 to begin mask production in the clean rooms of its Mie factory. Amidst the expanding coronavirus outbreak, the company prepared for production in a short period to alleviate the mask supply shortage in Japan as quickly as possible, and began shipments to the government on March 31.

Now, sales to individuals are set to commence.
