Soft, Stretchy Fabric Gentle on Skin, Designed to Prevent Ear Pain

To help curb the spread of the novel coronavirus, GUNZE has begun producing cloth masks, leveraging the technology and know-how cultivated through its long history of creating innerwear.

The fabric is a cotton blend, commonly used in underwear. Utilizing GUNZE's proprietary Cut-off® technology, which allows fabric edges to be finished without cutting, the mask and ear loops are integrated into a single piece, designed to be gentle on the ears.

The mask features a three-dimensional shape that fits the face. It can be washed and reused, and its double-layer structure allows for a gauze or other filter to be inserted between layers.

GUNZE has donated a total of 5,000 masks to Osaka Prefecture and Osaka City, with whom it has a comprehensive partnership agreement. "GUNZE STORE" offers free shipping for mask-only purchases. Each order is limited to two sets (four masks).
