The "AirCase," which sterilizes masks, smartphones, and other items with UV and ozone, will be released on Sunday, May 10, 2020. Pre-orders are currently being accepted.

MATECH, headquartered in Kyoto, began accepting pre-orders for "AirCase" on Amazon, a major online retailer, in April 2020. With over 1,000 orders in the first two days after its release, the product has garnered significant attention amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The "AirCase" sterilizes and air-cleans items placed inside within approximately 30 minutes using the power of UV (ultraviolet light) and ozone (O3). It employs UV-C wavelengths, known for their potent sterilizing effects, and includes an ozone cleaning function that is unaffected by obstacles. This design achieves a high sterilization rate of up to 99.9%.

A 5% discount is offered during the pre-order period. The price will revert to the regular price simultaneously with the end of pre-order acceptance. This offer can also be combined with the "Cashless 5% Reward" program. Deliveries for current pre-orders are expected around early June.
