Sony has launched the "REON POCKET 2," a wearable thermo device with enhanced cooling. Additionally, ESTNATION and EDIFICE have announced new apparel compatible with "REON POCKET."

New model boasts up to twice the heat absorption, plus sweat and drip resistance.

The "REON POCKET" is a wearable device that can be controlled via a smartphone app to cool or warm the skin surface at the contact points.
This product originated from the "Sony Startup Acceleration Program (SSAP)," which supports the creation and operation of startups. It achieved its funding goal of 66 million yen within a week of its crowdfunding launch, and after commercialization, it went on general sale in 2020.
The new model, with its enhanced cooling function, achieves up to twice the heat absorption of previous models thanks to a newly designed drive circuit. Furthermore, its sweat and drip-resistant design expands its usability to light activities such as golf and walking.
In addition to the dedicated innerwear and neckband previously offered by Sony, eight new apparel items compatible with "REON POCKET" have also been introduced.
