Fably, a textile e-commerce site, has launched a service offering mask-making fabric and free downloadable mask patterns. This initiative comes in response to the growing number of people making their own masks due to shortages and infection prevention concerns. The fabric selection focuses on antibacterial and deodorizing materials suitable for masks.

Currently, Fably offers six types of fabric for masks. Three of these are made from organic cotton and treated with "TioTio®PREMIUM," a hybrid catalyst that uses the oxidizing power of iron ions to suppress bacteria and odors. An additional three types of gentle, skin-friendly materials suitable for masks are also available, with plans to expand the selection in the future.

To enable immediate mask creation upon fabric arrival, Fably provides four types of mask patterns in different sizes and shapes, including options for children, along with instructions. These patterns are available for anyone to download and use for free from the Fably website.

Fabric is priced from ¥950 (excluding tax) per meter, with one meter yielding enough material to create approximately 30 to 40 masks.
