Ishikawa Meriyasu, known for its knit products, has launched a new seamless knit pleated mask. Made with elastic yarn, it fits snugly to the wearer's face size. The skin-friendly silk material keeps you cool even in summer, and it can be washed by hand and reused.

Ishikawa Meriyasu, a knit factory with 63 years of history, developed and sold knit masks in April 2020 to great acclaim. Building on this success, they have now developed a new pleated mask designed for summer coolness. The fabric features a garter stitch for a textured surface, reducing contact with the skin and alleviating stuffiness and the discomfort of the mask clinging to the face.
Elastic yarn is incorporated into the upper edge, chin area, and sides, where gaps tend to form, ensuring a secure fit that adapts to the wearer's facial contours. As a completely seamless, integrated knit mask from the body to the ear straps, there are no seams to irritate the skin, and it's designed to prevent ear pain.
The material is silk, a natural fiber with excellent moisture-wicking and breathability. It prevents heat and moisture buildup even when sweating, and its soft, gentle texture envelops the face. The mask can be repeatedly washed using a neutral detergent. The pleat structure remains intact even after multiple washes.
Available in three sizes: S, M, and L. Size S is for measurements from the base of the nose to the highest point of the ear between 9-11 cm, M for 10.5-12.5 cm, and L for 12-14.5 cm. Orders can be placed through the official online shop (http://ishimeri.net/).
