A "Mysterious Jar" That Enhances Fragrance and Adds Color to Your Space


ESTEBAN, a French fragrance brand that established the genre of "interior fragrance," giving form to the intangible scent, is now loved by people in over 40 countries worldwide. A highly anticipated new product has arrived for "ESTEBAN DECO EDITION," an original Japanese-designed brand launched in 2013. It will be unveiled at an event held at Ginza Mitsukoshi on Wednesday, March 18th.

"SCENT JARS": Where "PROOF OF GUILD"—the Mark of a Craftsman—Can Be Seen


ESTEBAN DECO EDITION focuses on the aesthetic sense, sensibility, and spirit of hospitality cultivated by Japanese history and culture, developing products that complement the main fragrance while fitting into modern lifestyles. For this collaboration, they chose "PROOF OF GUILD," based in Nagoya. Originally started as a jewelry and flower shop, the brand now produces various products under the direction of designer Minoru Takeuchi. Their unique approach and delicate, detailed handiwork have garnered fans not only in Japan but also internationally.


The newly released "SCENT JARS" are based on "PROOF OF GUILD's" popular product, "FLOWER VASE." Considering the brand's worldview and fragrance, two colors, red and gray, were developed through experiments with various glazes. The sight of five different semi-porcelain pieces arranged as if holding hands is a work of art in itself. ESTEBAN DECO EDITION proposes using them as diffusers with fragrance and rattan.

From March 18th, at Ginza Mitsukoshi 8th floor, "ESTEBAN 30th Anniversary—Spring Living Adorned with Fragrance—" will be held. At this event, products from ESTEBAN DECO EDITION, including "SCENT JARS," as well as fragrances from ESTEBAN not released in Japan, will be available for purchase.
