FLOS SPACE transformed into a special venue

"String Lights" and "IC Lights," after their debut at Milan Salone in April and subsequent presentations in the Netherlands and New York in September, are finally making their domestic debut in Japan. This exhibition features an installation by designer Michael Anastassiades himself, transforming FLOS SPACE into a truly special environment.

"String Lights" is a suspension light inspired by the orderly arrangement of power lines seen from train windows. Available in two main body shapes—round and isosceles triangle—various combinations are possible by altering the cord's path. The product embodies a simple, minimalist aesthetic, stripped of all non-essentials.

"IC Lights" draws inspiration from the fluid movements of world-class juggler Tony Duncan's body and balls, as well as from vintage photographs of the renowned juggler Paul Cinquevalli, who was active from the 19th to the 20th century.

The diffuser, made of blown glass, comes in two sizes: 200mm and 300mm. The collection includes table, floor, bracket, and suspension versions. The "IC" in IC Lights stands for Identification Code, referencing the immigration codes used by UK authorities to classify the country of origin for immigrants.
