Collaboration Exhibition Held at Tokyo Showroom

MARUNI COLLECTION × minä perhonen

Maruni Wood Industry's "MARUNI COLLECTION" lineup welcomes "dop," a new interior fabric developed by fashion brand "minä perhonen" that ages beautifully over time. To commemorate the launch of this product, a special exhibition, "MARUNI COLLECTION × minä perhonen," will be held at Maruni Wood Industry's Tokyo Showroom starting Saturday, October 25th.

MARUNI COLLECTION Upholstered with "dop," a Japanese Original

Maruni Wood Industry aims to create furniture that will be loved as a global standard for the next 100 years, while minä perhonen's fabrics are designed to foster affection, absorbing the user's habits and the atmosphere of the space. "MARUNI COLLECTION × minä perhonen" proposes items that enrich life through this collaboration.

minä perhonen's "dop" fabric, a double-faced moleskin, is designed to reveal its underlying color as the surface threads wear down with use. Rather than deteriorating, it is designed to change over time, allowing for long-term enjoyment.

Furthermore, "dop" is an interior fabric woven in Japan, available in 34 colors ranging from subdued tones to vivid accents for the home. Additionally, there are 34 colors each for fabrics featuring the "choucho" (butterfly) or "tambourine" embroidery, offering a total of 102 variations to choose from, which is another appealing aspect.
