Saru-yama Exhibition Held at Go-wari Ichi-bu Toyama
Beginning Saturday, August 23rd, the "Saru-yama Exhibition" will be held at "Go-wari Ichi-bu Toyama" in Toyama City. The shop, located in Azabu-Juban, Tokyo, deals in tableware, including antique ceramics.Osamu Saruyama, owner of Saru-yamaThis exhibition introduces a collection of items that Mr. Saruyama has created in collaboration with various artisans, alongside their original works.

Special Contribution from Osamu Saruyama, Owner of Saru-yama──What is Saru-yama?
We use the design office "Guye Layout Studio" in Moto-Azabu, Tokyo, as our gallery space. Concurrently, we operate under the name "Saru-yama," derived from the principal's name, Osamu Saruyama, to define its function beyond that of an office.
The main services of "Guye Layout Studio" include graphic design such as bookbinding, product design centered on tableware, and spatial design including store planning and renovations. We also produce background music for exhibition venues and music for stage and visual productions.
At "Saru-yama," we sell antique ceramics and old tools, primarily those handled by "Guye Layout Studio." We also periodically organize exhibitions for the artisans we collaborate with.
This exhibition at "Go-wari Ichi-bu Toyama" will showcase the activities of "Saru-yama," with a focus on our collaborative series with artisans. We invite you to visit.
