“BOOKS & STORE #2 STUSSY Livin’ GENERAL STORE” Event
Born in 2011 as a label proposing “things necessary to enrich life,” STUSSY Livin’ GENERAL STORE presents BOOKS & STORE, a pop-up event held irregularly at bookstores. The space, which presented the label’s worldview by interweaving “tools” essential for a better life with books gathered through its unique editorial curation, captivated many. It returns to Daikanyama T-Site.

Book Selection Concept: “Art and Walls”
Book selection for BOOKS & STORE #2 is handled by editor Hitoshi Okamoto (Landscape Products). The concept is “Art and Walls.” Do walls inspire artists, or do they make artists realize their limits? Twelve books exploring the relationship between walls and art, from ancient murals to the Mexican Mural Movement, abstract expressionism with paintings hung on walls placed on the floor, posters, graffiti, and even wallpaper, will be exhibited and sold. Additionally, the “GS BOOK TOTE,” useful for carrying books and for daily use, is scheduled for release during the event. We hope you’ll take a look.
From the generation that spent the 1980s and 90s with the clothing brand STUSSY, to the active generation striving to establish their own way of life rather than succumbing to trends, STUSSY Livin’ GENERAL STORE garners keen attention. Why not experience the new values they present?
