MONTBLANC | Introducing the "Heritage Collection 1912" Writing Instruments
MONTBLANC
A New Standard Embodying Montblanc's "Tradition and Innovation"
New Writing Instrument: "Heritage Collection 1912"
Last year, Montblanc's "Montblanc Heritage Collection" was released to much acclaim, inspired by the design of the "Simplo Safety Filler Pen," a piston-filler fountain pen that is a great legacy for humanity. Now, paying homage to the "Simplo Filler Pen" introduced in 1912, the "Heritage Collection 1912" fountain pen, equipped with innovative features, is being launched.

A Black Resin Model Becomes Montblanc's New Standard
The "Montblanc Heritage Collection" is not merely about nostalgia; it pays respect to the techniques cultivated through tradition while incorporating novel and progressive technology, fused with the beauty of timeless design.
The "Heritage Collection 1912," released this summer, features a body of lustrous, jet-black precious resin combined with refined platinum-finish fittings. The design, inspired by the legendary "Simplo Safety Filler Pen," the predecessor to Montblanc, is sharply accentuated.
Eternal Modernity—Sustainable Beauty That Never Fades
The white cap top, a tribute to great pioneers, features the "White Star" of mother-of-pearl floating within a dome of transparent resin, emitting a soft glow and exuding a profound beauty.
Furthermore, the new nib, crafted from rhodium-plated 585 solid gold for a smooth writing experience with its triangular heart hole, possesses a functional beauty that emits a sharp light, evoking the exhilaration of a finely tuned machine, transcending the boundaries of a mere fountain pen.
A Two-Step Screw Mechanism Merging Traditional Skill and Cutting-Edge Technology
While clad in a design dating back a century, the "Montblanc Heritage Collection" conceals innovative technology within. It features a new "Two-Step Screw Mechanism" that allows the nib to be retracted, despite being a piston-filling mechanism.
By rotating the barrel end in its current position, the nib can be extended or retracted. Pulling out the barrel end and rotating it activates the piston for ink filling, showcasing Montblanc's unique spirit of ingenuity in the barrel end, which functions like a crown.
