Vivid Impressions and Bewitching Personalities Bloom in the World of Interiors

The interior trend is shifting from minimalist to decorative.Artists who directly express their inner selves or messages to the outside world are emerging globally. Their works, imbued with the artist's soul and unbound by convention or consensus, possess an almost uncanny beauty. Representative artists include Frederique Morrel, who uses needlepoint embroidery (a technique of embroidering an entire canvas with wool yarn) to create art, interpreting animals and humans in her unique style, and Bokja, a talented design duo based in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon on the Mediterranean coast, comprising Hoda Baroudi and Maria Hibri.

Beauty Tinged with MadnessFrederique Morrel

Interior art inspired by mythological elements such as Adam and Eve, the Garden of Eden, the Fall of Man, and Noah's Ark, developed with a spiritual aesthetic. This time, eight new pieces, including "Doctor Zhivago," will be released.

"Frederique Morrel" began in Paris in the 80s when two artists happened to be neighbors. Frederique, the artist, started her creative activities inspired by her late grandmother's skill in needlepoint embroidery, and through her work, she questions all phenomena such as man and woman, human and animal, craft and artifact, beauty and ugliness.

Beauty Woven with Vibrant ColorsBokja

The Lebanese interior brand "Bokja." The brand name means "a cloth that a woman brings when she marries" in Turkish, and the works are handmade using kilim and suzani (embroidered cloth). Characterized by the rich colors and textures of weaving and embroidery, the beauty of traditional crafts is expressed in a contemporary way. This time, 17 new items, including the sofa "Bean," will be released.
