The "Duofold Mandarin Yellow" is Reissued!
To commemorate Parker's 125th anniversary, a limited edition model, the "Duofold Mandarin Yellow 125th Limited Edition Centennial Fountain Pen," is being released. This is a reissue of the "Duofold Mandarin Yellow" originally launched in 1927. Mandarin Yellow, introduced as the fifth color for the renowned Duofold, caused a stir at the time as a luxurious writing instrument with an innovative sense of the era. Anniversary Models to Be Released Sequentially
This year, marking the momentous 125th anniversary, Parker will convey the importance of writing words that transcend time, from past to present and into the future, with the message "WORDS for the future." Architect Cameron Sinclair and entrepreneur Robin Scott will also be featured as key opinion leaders in this campaign, adding to the buzz.
The "Duofold Mandarin Yellow," the prototype for the 125th anniversary limited edition model being released this time, was developed by founder George Safford Parker after he was inspired by the beauty of the yellow cloisonné he saw during a visit to Kyoto.
The reissue limited edition model, like the original, features Parker's signature "Lucky Curve Ribbon" engraved on the barrel and a serial number. The nib is adorned with the traditional Parker arrow, and the 18-karat gold cap is designed with the 125th-anniversary logo. Of the 1,088 units produced worldwide, 125 are scheduled for release in Japan.

Exhibition to be Held in Tokyo This September!
The "Parker 125th Anniversary Exhibition," which began its world tour in Shanghai in January of this year, features precious pens from the company's founding era and displays "WORDS for the future" handwritten by visitors. These words will also be uploaded to the Parker 125th Anniversary campaign website (www.wordsforthefuture.com) to be shared globally. Furthermore, the "WORDS for the future" collected throughout the world tour will be compiled into a book and stored in a time capsule until Parker's 150th anniversary in 2038, entrusting the words from 2013 to the future 25 years from now. The Parker 125th Anniversary Exhibition is scheduled to be held in Tokyo in September.
