The "LOCA Ceramic Filter," crafted by Kubota Jitsusei Pottery using the 400-year-old Arita-ware technique, is now available on the video shopping site DISCOVER.

The deliciousness of coffee is greatly influenced by the filtration and extraction process. The "LOCA Ceramic Filter" utilizes unique ceramic technology with countless microscopic pores, tens of microns in size, invisible to the eye. This thoroughly removes fine impurities while enabling the extraction of coffee oils that cannot be captured by paper filters.

By removing unwanted flavors while extracting coffee oils, it successfully brings out the clear taste and aroma inherent to the coffee beans. It's also easy to maintain. Simply washing with water and rinsing with hot water is sufficient for daily care, and it can be used repeatedly, making it a highly eco-friendly item.

The filter is produced by Kubota Jitsusei Pottery, located in Arita Town, Saga Prefecture, the birthplace of Arita-ware. It fuses traditional techniques with proprietary ceramic technology, taking 10 years to complete. Additionally, the "LOCA designer's version," designed by the design firm "TAKT PROJECT," is also available.

It was well-received during a先行 test sale in the United States, with comments such as "reduces the need for sugar" due to its smooth, mellow taste without bitterness.

Beyond coffee, passing tap water, wine, tea, and even shochu through "LOCA" softens their taste. It's also said to mellow the strong berry notes of wine that has been open for some time.
