In addition to forest development, the Forest Lifestyle Lab actively organizes workshops for children, such as camping in nature, building secret bases in forests after logging, making personal chopsticks from thinned wood, and playing with Larch Blocks.
Larch Blocks are eco-friendly toys made by crushing and recycling thinned Shinshu larch wood, then molding it with a binder using biomass technology. They are characterized by their durability, even when washed with water. They can be played with by combining them with each other or with the spherical "Larch Capsules" sold separately. These are noteworthy not only as items that contribute to environmental activities but also as educational toys for children.
