eN focuses on everyday "objects," approaching materials from a unique perspective to pursue functional beauty. These are Made in Japan products designed with a focus on tactile feel, where the evolving textures that emerge with age harmonize with their surroundings.

The single-stem vase, "suspended flower," evokes a sense of delicacy and suspension. Designed to create a dynamic presence in a space when hung, it's intended to harmonize the atmosphere of its environment. Its lightweight nature allows for versatile placement, whether hung from the ceiling or a wall, adding a simple yet striking accent to any room.

The flower vase, "flower base," draws inspiration from the curved beauty of thread spools, expressing the exquisite wood grain in flowing lines. Its organic form transforms when inverted, offering a different aesthetic. The shape, born from repeated trials and errors, is pleasing to the touch and deepens in character with age. It possesses a simple yet commanding presence and can be combined with other forms, offering broad possibilities for expression.

The pendant light, "hunger Light," embodies the idea of "a lighting fixture that can be moved anywhere and turned on at will, offering high freedom and versatility." Its design, pursuing simple functional beauty, features a hook-like end, allowing it to be hung from curtain rails, furniture, or any uneven surface, with the enjoyment changing depending on the hanging point. The 2.5m cord for the bulb can also be adjusted, allowing for variations in the overall balance and making it suitable for a multitude of uses.

Masaharu Asano
Designer. Born in 1978. From Fukuoka Prefecture. Heads ASANO DESIGN OFFICE, which handles a wide range of design and planning for commercial and residential spaces, as well as products and furniture.

With respect for the craftsmanship and manufacturing backgrounds he has been involved with, he launched "eN," an original product brand by Asano Design Office, in 2012.
