"96'" supports a vibrant, energetic, and healthy lifestyle, as well as beauty, with a double dose of health power: black vinegar, rich in amino acids, traditionally fermented and aged in pots using a traditional method from Fukuyama Town, Kagoshima Prefecture, and enoki mushroom, a source of the currently trending ingredient Gaba (γ-aminobutyric acid).

Michio AKITA
Born in Osaka City in 1953. Graduated from the Department of Fine Arts, Aichi University of the Arts. After working at Kenwood and Sony, he became a freelance product designer in 1988. He is a leading Japanese product designer with a prolific portfolio that includes the design of the "One-Bottle Wine Cellar" for Device Style, the high-end stationery series "trystrams" for Kokuyo, and various lifestyle products. His work also extends to public design, such as LED slim pedestrian traffic lights, JR charging stations, and security gates at Roppongi Hills.
His accolades include the Grand Prize of the Mainichi ID Award, the German iF Design Award, and selection for the Good Design Award JIDA Design Museum. This year, his earthenware pot "do-nabe," designed without handles, received a silver award at the "9th International Ceramics Festival Mino."
