MERCHANT&MILLS, a sewing tool brand, was born in Hay-on-Wye, Wales, UK, a place known as a haven for old books. With a desire to popularize traditional French couture (tailored clothing) in the modern era, they produce patterns and source sewing accessories, primarily British-made items. The brand has now launched in Japan. Here, we introduce a selection of their products.

PIN MAGNET

THREAD CLIPS

The "PIN MAGNET" is a magnetic holder for pins, a useful item for managing pins that tend to scatter during needlework. The "THREAD CLIPS" are shiny stainless steel thread scissors made in Sheffield, an industrial city in the UK. Despite their unique shape, they are designed for comfortable use.

BLACK BULB PINS

The "SEWING BOX" is a sewing box (available in 9 types) containing a complete set of tools for hand sewing. It comes in a paper box that highlights its excellent graphic design. The "BLACK BULB PINS" are small, 21mm safety pins with a pear-like roundness, recommended for attaching tags and other items.

NEEDLES WOODEN CASE

SEWING KIT

The "NEEDLES WOODEN CASE" contains 12 needles that do not require a threader, housed in a small wooden case. Thread can be inserted by pushing it down from the head of the needle into the hole, making it a convenient size for portability.
