NOOKA's First Round Design is Revolutionary!

The collaboration between NOOKA and Karim Rashid aimed for a synergistic effect between "democratic design" and a "universal language." From this partnership emerged "Yogurt," NOOKA's first round design, crafted from soft, flexible polyurethane.

The display, which shows the hour in hexagonal digital graphics at the center and the minutes on the outer circle, is a contemporary and unique design characteristic of Karim Rashid.

The "Yogurt" features a sleep mode and 12/24 hour display options, and is available in six colors: blackberry, raspberry, blueberry, lime, plain (white), and non-fat (clear).

One of the most prolific designers of his generation, Karim Rashid has created over 3,000 designs and is active in more than 35 countries. His work is represented in the permanent collections of 20 museums and is exhibited in galleries worldwide. He has received over 300 awards, including the Red Dot Award, Chicago Athenaeum Good Design Award, I.D. Magazine's Annual Design Review, and the IDSA Industrial Design Excellence award.
