Product designer Yota Kakuda shared a special message for OPENERS readers: "This is a desk just the right size for using a laptop or for a bit of reading and writing. It's lightweight, so you can carry it to a sunny spot by the window in the morning and check social media while enjoying your coffee. Plus, with storage under the top, you can keep your space tidy. It might also be a good desk for children who like to spread things out. Made from a single sheet of standard-sized plywood, its affordability at ¥28,000 in Japan is also appealing. I truly believe it will enrich your life just a little, so please try it out."

The Scola Desk is a compact desk inspired by British elementary school classroom desks. A small circular shelf that can be attached to the legs is convenient for placing small items. It weighs 5kg, making it both light and sturdy.

The Scola Stool is a redesign of a chair from a school art room, using colorful decorative panels. One side is a panel, allowing it to be used horizontally as a side table. Its color palette is also appealing, complementing the Scola Desk.
