Born in Fukuoka in 1984. He acquired metal engraving techniques through self-study. While working as a metal engraver, he expanded his expressive possibilities into two and three dimensions, working as a contemporary artist. His mixed-media works using special resins reinterpret inorganic materials as three-dimensional, fleshy organic forms, retaining the fluid texture characteristic of metal. His style expresses the fundamental energy of life and its expansion.

©️SHINSUKE IKEUCHI
Born in Tokyo in 1990. Graduated from Tama Art University, Department of Information Design. He spent much of his university years building plastic models. For his graduation project, inspired by the idea that the interior of a computer, his closest companion, resembled a secret base, he created hybrid dioramas combining plastic models. Following an award of excellence in the Entertainment Division at the 17th Japan Media Arts Festival, he was invited to Ars Electronica, the world's leading media art festival, and was selected for the BALENCIAGA 2022 Spring campaign visuals. It focuses on the subtle twists of the unreal within the everyday, drawing inspiration from overlooked trivialities. With the belief that 'God is in the details,' the brand is characterized by its colorful and intricate patchwork, unconventional silhouettes that defy the human form, and its active use of technology and new techniques.

midland Creation proposes new styles of inheriting Japanese culture with innovative ideas and approaches that transcend existing concepts, while understanding traditional techniques passed down by artisans. The development of a 400% BE@RBRICK by producer Shoto Nakajima, which incorporates movable joints into Kutani porcelain, adds a new chapter to the history of BE@RBRICK. The 'Kutani BE@RBRICK [Seika Kousai Karakusa Mon] 400% (EDITION 1)' presented this time expresses the 'Somenishiki' design—a fusion of indigo dyeing and Kutani Gosai—adapted for contemporary lifestyles. The style, which masterfully employs the distinct techniques of underglaze blue and overglaze enamel, achieves a harmonious balance of subtlety and splendor. 'Seika' refers to the underglaze blue dyeing, 'Kousai' refers to the Kutani Gosai (green, yellow, purple, navy, red), and 'Karakusa' indicates the design of intertwined peonies rendered in fine gold.
A miraculous 400% BE@RBRICK combining Kutani porcelain with movable joints. This ultimate piece, hand-painted by the rising popular artist Kōtei Miura, who is pioneering new frontiers in Kutani ware, fuses indigo dyeing with Kutani Gosai. Comes with a paulownia wood box.
