The "Isetan Design Week" showcases works created by designers, creators, and brands from around the world. At Isetan Shinjuku, the "Tide Extension" venue for DESIGNTIDE TOKYO 2011 in the Shinjuku area, the store presents a "Love Communication" theme with original chair collections "Love Chair Collection" in collaboration with the Finnish design project "HIRAMEKI," as well as other notable collections and heartwarming items such as "Le cadeau-PASS THE BATON×ISETAN LIVING-", "LOVE! FINLAND LAPUAN KANKURIT FAIR – Winter Preparations from Finland –", "Candle JUNE presents CANDLE NIGHT GIFT STATION", and "min – Tableware Perfect for Japanese Dining."

"Richard Ginori" Love Communication – Paola Navone & Minä Perhonen – is a dreamlike collaboration born from the encounter between Ms. Paola Navone, a distinguished Italian female designer active in various fields including as Art Director for Richard Ginori, and the fashion brand "minä perhonen" by designer Akira Minagawa.

For this collaboration, Paola Navone envisioned the creation of "new encounters." The six series, based on Richard Ginori's popular shapes, were completed when minä perhonen first relayed their design ideas themed around "LOVE COMMUNICATION" to Paola Navone, who then freely interpreted and finalized them.
