Supports the latest communication standards, rivaling smartphones.
The "LUMIX DMC-CM10," a communication camera with shooting capabilities that rival a digital single-lens reflex camera, is now available. Its ultra-slim, smartphone-like body, approximately 15.2mm thick, allows for smartphone-like operation and LTE connectivity. It enables quick uploads of photos and videos to social media on the spot, making photo communication even more enjoyable.
The communication function can be used by inserting a data-only SIM card that does not support voice calls. It is, of course, SIM-free. Aside from the voice call function, it operates almost identically to an Android smartphone, running the latest Android 5.0 (Lollipop) OS. Users can download and use a variety of apps.
Shoot, View, Retouch, and Share on Social Media – All with One Device.
It features a large 1.0-inch high-sensitivity MOS sensor, a bright "Leica DC Elmarit lens," and the "Venus Engine" image processor, which suppresses noise for high-resolution depiction. A control ring allows for manual adjustment of aperture, shutter speed, and more, offering shooting capabilities that will entice even seasoned camera enthusiasts to press the shutter.
Captured photos can be immediately reviewed on the detailed 4.7-inch, 6.22-million-dot LCD, which supports Full HD resolution. Furthermore, the pre-installed "Gallery" app allows users to view, retouch, and share photos within a single application, completing the entire photo communication workflow.
It also supports 4K video recording. Additionally, the pre-installed "4K Pre-Burst" app captures 1.5 seconds before and after the shutter button is pressed in 4K quality. Using "4K Pre-Burst," users can take up to 45 photos in 1.5 seconds, ensuring they never miss the perfect shot.

It also comes with pre-installed features such as automatic photo saving to Google Drive and the "Photo Search" app, convenient for finding shooting locations during travel.
The "LUMIX CM10" is a new style of digital camera that combines communication features with smartphone-like usability and high-quality photography capabilities that are difficult to achieve with conventional smartphones.
