Louis Vuitton's Signature "Magic" of Light and Sound
Since 1854, Louis Vuitton has embodied "the essence of travel." Now, the Maison adds a portable speaker to its connected product lineup, designed to be taken anywhere.
Through the Maison's innovative approach to "creating beauty within everyday objects," the "Louis Vuitton Horizon Light Up Speaker" elevates a practical item into a work of art.
This distinctive design, inspired by the "Toupies"—French for spinning tops—a bag designed by Nicolas Ghesquière, Louis Vuitton's Artistic Director of Womenswear, achieves a form unlike any other in the audio market. It's a model set to create a stir in the world of portable speakers.
When not in use, this speaker presents an artistic object-like presence. It is enveloped in refined leather, accented with metal parts, and features the Maison's iconic signatures.
When the device is powered on, sound and light emanate, revealing its function. The woofer, concealed by a cover, vibrates like a heartbeat, while a dynamic light show, a colorful digital interpretation of the iconic Monogram Flower, synchronizes with the beat of the music.
The top ring is equipped with an LED backlight, offering three types of animations with a 7-color gradient.
This elegant speaker measures just 18cm in diameter and weighs 1kg, making it as portable as a handbag. It offers wireless connectivity via Bluetooth and up to 12 hours of playback on a full charge. Furthermore, connecting two or more speakers allows for enjoying music in larger spaces or setting up simultaneous playback in multiple rooms.
Operation is managed through the dedicated "Louis Vuitton Connect" app, which controls all speaker functions, including color combinations, animation sequences, single-unit use, and multi-room setups.
And when not in use, it becomes an art object. This marks the birth of an art piece-like portable speaker that challenges the boundaries of design.
