On November 30, 2024, a new luxury rental residence brand was announced, aiming to offer an unprecedented living experience under the concept of being “a singular existence that cannot be replicated, no matter how much luxury is pursued.” This is THE GRANDUO. The ambitious project is spearheaded by Face Network Co., Ltd., a company with a solid track record in real estate investment support, primarily in Tokyo's southern wards (Setagaya, Meguro, Shibuya). What exactly is this “singular existence” that incorporates the company's know-how?

As previously reported, Face Network Co., Ltd. is launching a new luxury rental residence brand, THE GRANDUO.
According to the company's press release, "THE GRANDUO is a luxury rental residence that offers a singular space, distinct from our existing condominium brand, GranDuo... We collaborate with architects renowned for their residential design expertise to devise concepts that leverage the potential of carefully selected locations. The interiors feature original designs that cater to the profile of each resident, without compromising on beauty or functionality. Furthermore, it comes equipped with various functions that realize 'FULNESS'—an advanced experiential value that enhances one's life simply by living there..." thereby bringing an unprecedented spatial value.

The commitment to being singular is evident in the design. A striking feature is the abandonment of the uniform design approach common in rental properties, with each unit individually designed. While this is clearly an inefficient process that significantly increases design and construction costs, it enables the provision of spaces that are beautiful and meticulously detailed, setting them apart from mass-produced, standardized housing.

THE GRANDUO aims to provide a new experiential value called "FULNESS," which goes beyond residents' "Well-being." According to the materials, it is a space where "one feels a sense of fulfillment and their physical and mental energy is replenished simply by living there." By focusing intensely on four factors—air conditioning, water, light, and environmental consideration—it seeks to provide not just comfort, but also physical and mental satisfaction. The living spaces at THE GRANDUO incorporate Phiten's cutting-edge "Metax Coating" technology. This technology is known to help relax muscles, recover from fatigue, and improve concentration, and is trusted by top athletes. The entire room becomes a relaxation space, supporting comfortable sleep and refreshing awakenings. It soothes the resident's body and mind, enhancing daily performance. THE GRANDUO utilizes the "Yoshimizu Kobo" whole-house water purification system. Perhaps the most innovative aspect of THE GRANDUO is its use of realistic CG, created by "Brock Party," a leading 3D/CG architectural visualization studio in Japan, allowing potential residents to experience the spaces as if they were real. The high-quality CG, virtually indistinguishable from photographs, maximizes the appeal of THE GRANDUO. This provides significant peace of mind for clients and greatly aids in the decision-making process even before the property is completed.
The web design and logo were handled by "o-flat inc.," led by graphic designer Yohei Nagata. Nagata, active both domestically and internationally, has visually expressed the brand's aesthetic and quality.
