Working globally as an interior designer, approximately 90% of his current projects are overseas.Masamichi KatayamaA lecture exploring the source of his activities will be held on April 23rd (Wednesday) at AXIS Forum, under the theme "Wonderwall: Approach & Case Study."

Introducing Wonderwall's Latest Projects
Wonderwall, led by Masamichi Katayama, is responsible for numerous renowned brand spaces, including global flagship stores for apparel brand "Uniqlo" and "INTERSECT BY LEXUS TOKYO." In recent years, Katayama has also focused on nurturing young talent as a professor in the Musashino Art University's Department of Scenography, Display and Fashion Design.
This AXIS Forum, titled "Wonderwall: Approach & Case Study," will feature a lecture where Katayama will discuss his engagement with design through his life story and his approach to projects, using his representative works and latest projects as case studies. Applications are accepted via email and are limited to the first 100 attendees.

Masamichi Katayama
Born in Okayama Prefecture in 1966. Founded H. Design Associates in '92 and Wonderwall in 2000. Since 2011, he has served as a professor in the Department of Scenography, Display and Fashion Design at Musashino Art University. His major works include global flagship stores for Uniqlo (New York, Paris, Ginza, Shanghai, etc.), INTERSECT BY LEXUS–TOKYO, Nike Harajuku, Pierre Hermé Paris Aoyama, MACKINTOSH (London, Aoyama), Thom Browne New York Aoyama, The Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong "OZONE," PASS THE BATON (Marunouchi, Omotesando), Yoyogi VILLAGE / code kurkku, and Colette (Paris).
His recent publication is "Professor Masamichi Katayama's 'Do What You Love' as Your Job" (Magazine House). To coincide with the release of the art book "WONDERWALL ARCHIVES 02" (Parco), he will hold "Exhibition of Wonderwall Archives 02 -10 Project Models-" from April 18th to May 25th at Pola Museum Annex (Ginza, Tokyo).
